The Office
The Office t-shirt by Panic Goods Apparel (reviewed here) immediately caught my eye not only because it is named after a terrific BBC television series, but because of the large, rectangular photo slapped across the front that immediately reminded me of four hours of Windows Office application testing hell that I once endured at a San Fernando Valley temp agency. The only differences between the office I visited and the one depicted on The Office were the people’s haircuts and the health of the plants in the rear corner. I mean, the guy on the front right has better hair than Jefferson D’arcy, and that is a feat! Actually, now that I look closely, the guy on the right resembles Ted McGinley…and the woman on the left resembles Marcy D’arcy! If only the guy in the back looked like Griff, then this shirt would morph into some crazy, 80’s portent of one of my favorite 90’s television shows. If only….

Wow! I get postive reactions to The Office every time I wear it! Most people ask what the image is supposed to be and when I tell them that I think it’s just some old stock photo, they inevitably comment on the archaic technology and/or plastic plant. The shirt fabric itself has held up admirably to three months of Coin-op laundering. No pills or shape shifting.
